This work is projected at Fullerton Hotel from 26 - 31 December 2023.

The theme of my work for this competition is based on Arts & Disability Singapore, an organization that supports disabled people through the arts. The disabled community has not been given the resources needed to contribute to society, and hence, they face more difficulties in academic performance and finding careers. Art can be a great subject to be taught to these people as it enhances their art skills, which can also be used for their future careers.

The prominent features, which are flowers, are meant to symbolize growth. I use this imagery to express that these children will be able to achieve success through art despite their disabilities.

The hands in the middle of the projection meant to express support, which is what people with disabilities need to develop. This support refers to art education.

Other minor features such as the musical notes, theatre masks, instruments, and paint displays the types of arts that can be taught towards these communities, as each individual has their own passion or interests. There are illustrations of children learning music with their lecturer, and then children graduating and a person going for work. This is meant to display the progression of their growth and to show that they can keep up with the average population with proper support.

Lastly, the curtains at the sides symbolizes that "life is a stage, and anyone can perform." I believe that people with disabilities deserves a spotlight, or a chance to show their talents. Through art, they will be able to show and fill the world with their own creativity. From this opportunity, they can achieve success in life.
